My name is John Doty and I’m an experienced director of photography and production specialist. Right out of film school, I started at a local TV Station. I started freelancing and I've been on my own for 20 years working for ad agencies and marketing projects. John Doty is a Texas Emmy-award winning director of photography who has worked in broadcast television and video production for more than 25 years. He began a career in visual story-telling in WFAA-TV producing feature-length documentary projects for prime time. His work has been recognized by, among others, by a Regional Emmy, the Telly Awards and The Press Club of Dallas. John recently started a lighting company called Dallas Lighting & Grip to support the production community.
